Hasta nakshatra is the thirteenth nakshatra out of the 27 nakshatras in vedic astrology. Consisting of 5 stars, hasta constellation is seen completely within Virgo and its lord is the Moon. The ruling deity of this nakshatra is Savitar, which is a part of the sun, the influence of which makes the native jovial and carefree.
